Treasury Hunt by Creative Pathways
Treasury Hunt is a mystery poncho inspired by the legendary Barbara Walker, whose knitting treasuries collected hundreds of stitch patterns that continue to influence knitters worldwide. This design celebrates her legacy, and honors Local Yarn Store Day at the same time. The pdf on Ravelry contains the complete supply list. The first clue will drop on April 25, 2026.
This pattern is discounted until April 26, when the price will go to $12.99. It is available in-store on Ravelry.
The poncho is a circular shape, made in the round from the top down, with no seaming. To get a feel for my other Local Yarn Store Day mystery projects, please take a peek at the shawls in my Ravelry store designed by Cynthia Spencer and Valerie Reed.

A fresh addition the collection this year is this newly design LYS Day 2026 Stitch Marker Set! Six adorable stitch markers in the form of knitting-themed postage stamps. Five are wood and one is a shiny multi-colored acrylic.

As a designer and yarn dyer, I am thrilled to participate in LYS day with yarn & pattern kits this year. Each kit includes (1) full 100g skein of fingering weight yarn and (3) mini 20g skeins featuring the Factory Girl Blueprint Yarn Base (of 80% SW Merino, 10% Cashmere, 10% Nylon). There are 2 color sets to choose from – choose 1 or select an assortment for your shop.
Kit Yardage: 437 yd/400 m per 100 g + (3) 87 yd/80 m per 20 g mini. Each kit includes the yarn, a progress marker, Soak wash sample, sticker, coaster, mocktail recipe card and download codes for the both Golden Hour and Solstice shawl patterns.
Golden Hour is a circular shawl shape while Solstice is an asymmetrical shape; both patterns feature the beautiful slip and eyelet pattern featured to show off the complimentary mini skeins.
